Ron Gentry

Sharing the joy of faith, one heart at a time.

Join veteran broadcaster Ron Gentry on Operation Joy, a special program on Gospel Valley Radio (Nashville, TN), dedicated to sharing the hope, encouragement, and uplifting message of the Christian faith.

With more than 50 years of broadcasting experience, Ron brings a lifetime of storytelling, communication, and connection to the microphone. A Kentucky Hall of Fame Broadcaster, former Kentucky Secretary of Tourism, and longtime speaker and media professional, Ron has spent his career connecting with people and sharing stories that inspire, inform, and make a difference.

On Operation Joy, Ron brings that same passion to a message centered on faith, hope, and the joy found in a relationship with God. Through encouraging words, meaningful reflections, and a heart for ministry, the program invites listeners to pause from the demands of everyday life and rediscover the peace and promise that faith can bring.

Whether you're beginning your day, traveling down the road, or simply looking for a moment of spiritual encouragement, Operation Joy offers a reminder that even in life's most challenging seasons, hope remains, faith sustains, and joy can be found in God's presence.
